橘子的话

咱们恒是一粒粒 Each of us is
酸酸的桔仔 A calamansi
分不清 Wondering if
生长的土地 The soil that nurtures us
是故乡 Is native or alien.
还是异乡
想到祖先 Our fathers
移植海外以前 Back in the old century
原是甜蜜的 Were sweet
而今已然一代酸过一代 Yet sour each passing generation.
只不知 Shall we know
子孙们 How much more sour
将更酸涩 In taste
成啥味道 The Children after us will be.
